Wow, it sure has been a while since I've updated the blog. Sorry to all you loyal readers! Somehow the past couple months have come and gone with no entry. First it was a computer virus where I was not able to get on my computer for a couple weeks, then Christmas, New Years, and a broken camera.
Just an update on Hayden, she turned 6 months yesterday. She's been battling some skin issues the past couple of months and yesterday after waiting patiently (not exactly) two long months we saw a pediatric dermatologist that confirmed it was eczema. She has a couple bad spots on the back of head that have been bad so we are hoping that they will soon start getting better after some treatment we were given. But just in case you see us in the summertime and you wonder why she is wearing a hat in the 100 degree weather, you'll know why! =)
We've had a busy couple of months including our first long drive with the girls to Denver for Christmas. 14 hours in the car and they both did great, but the drive home was a bit different. Since Riley knew how long it was going to be before we even pulled out of the drive way she screamed "it's gonna take too long." and that phrase was repeated a few times an hour. Hayden cried for 45 mintues straight on our way home and it was so stressful on Riley that she asked for us to roll down the window so she could jump out. Aside from the drive back it was great time.
